How the Automatic Actuator / Smartlyte works ...

The Smartlyte has two parts: The light unit and magnetic actuator. Both parts of the system are installed near the top of the bag where it opens.

On one side the Smartlyte light is suspended in a small pouch (sewn into the bag) with the LED bulb protruding at the bottom. On the other side the Actuator is also sewn into the lining or suspended in a small pouch.

The Actuator is a special type of magnet that tells the Smartlyte light when the bag is opened or closed. It’s the essential part of the SmartLyte system that automatically triggers the Smartlyte micro processor which turns on or off the light. If the bag is left open for more then 30 seconds, the light will automatically shut off.
